JOB DESCRIPTION: Administrative Assistant, Cubist Systematic Strategies (New York) About Cubist Cubist Systematic Strategies is one of the world’s premier investment firms. The firm deploys systematic, computer-driven trading strategies across multiple liquid asset classes, including equities, futures, and foreign exchange. The core of our effort is rigorous research into a wide range of market anomalies, fueled by our unparalleled access to a wide range of publicly available data sources. Role and Responsibilities Provide administrative support, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and conference room booking, to multiple teams. Strategically partner with teams to alleviate workload and create efficiencies. Create, process, and track expense reports. Organize domestic and international travel arrangements. Assist with campus recruiting coordination, including travel arrangements, catering, swag, and other logistics. Help plan both individual team and larger Cubist-wide events. Provide coverage for other administrative team members as needed. Desirable Candidates Bachelor’s degree required. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders. Ability to anticipate problems and effectively follow up. Ability to multitask and prioritize assignments. Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle queries, calls and issues.
