Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating and hydration as needed. Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. Administer medications as directed and observe for any changes in client condition. Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful social interaction. Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when needed. Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or living conditions to the appropriate supervisor. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided. Ensure clients are treated with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times. Follow individualized care plans and organizational policies and procedures. Promote client independence while providing appropriate assistance and supervision. Maintain a safe environment and help prevent accidents and injuries in the home. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members. Demonstrate compassion, patience, and professionalism in every interaction. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of a recognized Direct Care Worker training program or equivalent caregiving experience. Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred, but not required. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic attitude toward client care. Strong observation and reporting skills. Ability to accurately document services provided. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Employees must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance at all times. Physical ability to assist clients with mobility and transfers as needed. Ability to maintain a safe and clean environment. Proof of Influenza Vaccination or an approved Medical or Religious Exemption.
