About This Role   The Vice President of Construction is responsible for leading all aspects of new club development, remodels, relocations, capital projects, and facility improvement initiatives across a growing multi-unit portfolio. This executive will support developing and executing the company's construction strategy to support aggressive expansion while ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget , and in alignment with brand standards.   The VP of Construction partners closely with Real Estate, Operations, Finance, Facilities, Procurement , and executive leadership to drive scalable growth. This individual will oversee construction teams, consultants, architects, engineers, general contractors , and vendors while establishing best-in-class processes, reporting , and controls.   Key Responsibilities   Develop and execute the long-term construction strategy to support company growth objectives.   Build scalable systems, processes, and reporting tools to support multi-market expansion.   Partner with executive leadership on market growth plans, capital allocation, and development priorities.   Establish KPIs and performance metrics for construction operations.   Oversee all new club construction, major remodels, relocations, and capital improvement projects.   Manage the full construction lifecycle from entitlement and permitting through turnover and grand opening.   Ensure consistent execution of brand standards across all locations.   Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-open, reduce costs, and increase project efficiency.   Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasting models.   Own annual construction and capital expenditure budgets.   Drive cost-saving initiatives through value engineering, vendor negotiations, and process improvements.   Monitor project budgets and financial performance to ensure responsible capital deployment.   Present project status, forecasts, and risks to executive leadership.   Build and manage relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, landlords, and developers.   Lead bid processes and contractor selection.   Establish vendor performance standards and accountability measures.   Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.   Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal building regulations.   Mitigate construction risks, delays, and operational disruptions.   Champion safety, quality, and construction excellence across all projects.   Maintain consistency in permitting, inspections, and project documentation.   Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing construction organization.   Mentor and lead Directors, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.   Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.   Qualifications   Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.   10+ years of progressive construction leadership experience.   5+ years leading multi-site construction programs at a Director or VP level.   Leadership experience managing remote or decentralized teams across multiple markets.   Experience supporting rapid growth across multiple states.   Proven success delivering large-scale capital projects on time and within budget.   Strong financial acumen, budgeting, and forecasting experience.   Expertise in permitting, entitlement, zoning, and regulatory compliance.   Willingness to travel regularly to project sites.   Experience supporting 20+ annual openings .   PMP, CCM, PE, or related certifications.   Location & Work Environment   This is a hybrid, primarily remote role supporting a decentralized HQ team. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating across time zones in a multi-state environment.   Preferred candidates will be based in Dallas, Phoenix and Las Vegas   Travel will be needed for team connection, onboarding and key business initiatives.   Benefits and Perks: A highly energetic and collaborative team.
