We provide all equipment, supplies, scheduling, and support—allowing you to focus entirely on patient care.   Position Summary CMC is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to provide routine eye care services across two established partner facilities in Wilkes‑Barre and Minersville, PA . This role offers predictable monthly scheduling, flexibility, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local senior communities. This is a travel-friendly role ideal for an OD seeking supplemental, high-rate per-diem work with consistent monthly coverage.   About the Opportunity Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is seeking a Part-Time Optometrist (OD) to provide care within Geisinger-affiliated outpatient settings. You’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused environment serving senior populations. Clinic staff are on-site full time Organized scheduling and patient flow Coordinated, team-based care environment Value-based model focused on senior citizens Modern, well-equipped facilities We manage equipment, supplies, scheduling, billing, and logistics — allowing you to focus entirely on delivering high-quality vision care.   What You’ll Do Perform comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions within your scope of practice Prescribe corrective lenses and provide appropriate treatment recommendations Collaborate with clinic staff as part of an integrated care team Deliver patient-centered care in a structured outpatient setting   What Makes This Different This is not a high-volume, production-focused model.
