Elementary After-School Sports Coach

What you will do! Lead fun, engaging, and age-appropriate sports classes for elementary-aged children. Additional coaching opportunities are available in our preschool programs for those seeking more hours. Teach fundamental sports skills while emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and respect. Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment using positive reinforcement. Ensure the safety and well-being of every participant throughout each class. Follow Amazing Athletes' and Super Soccer Stars' curriculum while bringing your own enthusiasm and personality to every session. Build meaningful relationships with students, parents, and school staff while representing the Amazing Athletes brand with professionalism. Requirements What we are looking for: Experience working with children in a sports, coaching, education, childcare, or camp setting. A passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping kids build confidence through sports. An energetic, positive personality with the ability to engage and motivate children. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Availability to work at least three weekdays from 2:30-5:30pm. Additional morning and game night hours, along with a few weekends, are available. Reliable transportation to travel between program locations. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Background Check Information: All coaches are required to successfully complete a Department of Children and Families (DCF) background screening as a condition of employment.
