About Us At Alteva RCM, we're dedicated to helping healthcare providers thrive through expert revenue cycle management, strategic insight, and innovative solutions. We're always looking for passionate, driven professionals who want to make a meaningful impact, grow their careers, and be part of a collaborative team committed to excellence. Technical Lead     Alteva RCM is a healthcare revenue cycle management company that partners with medical practices and surgical centers nationwide. We help providers operate more efficiently, strengthen revenue cycle operations, and navigate the complexity of today’s healthcare environment.   We serve a wide range of specialties and operate at scale, with technology playing an important role in how we support clients and internal operations.     About the Role   This is a newly created Technical Lead role supporting complex operational systems and internal technology initiatives at Alteva. The work involves business workflows, multiple live systems, and ongoing technical improvements.   Alteva has existing engineering capacity and a broader technology team. This person will join that structure, partnering with company technology leadership while owning technical architecture, code design, and day-to-day technical execution for assigned systems and initiatives.     You will be responsible for the quality, reliability, extensibility, and technical direction of the work. This means staying close enough to the code to guide design, review implementation, and speak clearly to technical tradeoffs when needed.   This is a hands-on technical leadership role, not a manager-only position. We are looking for someone who brings practical engineering judgment, improves execution quality, and helps bring more structure and technical clarity as the team grows.     What You'll Own   Architecture & Code Design   Own technical design and architecture for assigned systems and initiatives, ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable, and extensible   Stay hands-on in the codebase so you can guide implementation, review work effectively, and speak to technical decisions with confidence   Set and uphold standards for code quality, design patterns, integration approaches, documentation, and maintainability   Collaborate with Alteva technology leadership and other technical leads on architecture decisions, security, standards, and cross-team alignment   Identify technical debt, production risk, and system reliability gaps, and help prioritize what gets addressed and when     Team & Delivery   Serve as a primary technical point of contact for internal and external development partners on assigned work   Provide direction and guidance to internal and outsourced developers, building credibility through strong technical judgment and hands-on contribution   Review code across internal and outsourced developers, and raise the quality bar over time   Support release planning, rollback readiness, environment management, and post-release validation   Participate in discovery and scoping for new initiatives alongside business and technology stakeholders   Surface blockers early and keep delivery on track     Systems & Reliability   Learn the technical landscape across core platforms, integrations, and automation workflows, and help improve technical documentation over time   Work within the broader Alteva technical framework while making sure business needs, risks, and priorities are clearly represented   Evaluate workflow automation approaches in coordination with other internal initiatives   Help improve monitoring, alerting, and production support practices so issues are caught earlier and escalated clearly   Contribute to a development environment that values speed, quality, and continuous learning     What We're Looking For   Required   Strong .NET and C# development background, with recent hands-on coding experience   Experience owning technical design or architecture for business-critical internal systems   Experience building, supporting, or improving business-critical internal tools, workflows, or systems   Hands-on experience with Azure   Experience with integrations, APIs, data flows, or enterprise platforms   Ability to review code, guide developers, and raise engineering quality across internal and outsourced work   Comfortable working in a live environment where things are still being built and not everything is defined   Clear communicator who can bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders without losing accuracy     Preferred   Salesforce or enterprise CRM/platform integration experience   Familiarity with workflow automation strategies   Experience with automation, AI-assisted workflows, or intelligent document/data processing   Comfort using modern development tools, including AI-assisted coding tools where they improve productivity or quality   Background in healthcare, RCM, financial operations, or other high-volume operational environments   Experience working with outsourced development teams   Experience improving QA, release, monitoring, or rollback practices     What This Isn't   This is not a role where you will spend the first six months in planning mode. The systems are live, the work is active, and the team needs someone who can contribute hands-on while helping bring more structure to execution.   It is also not a siloed IC role. You will be expected to influence how technical work is designed, planned, reviewed, released, and supported. If you want to just write code and hand it off, this is not the right fit.     Why Join   S erve as a hands-on technical lead for complex operational systems with direct business impact   Work closely with product, operations, and technology stakeholders with a short feedback loop between technical work and real outcomes   Join a growing technology function with meaningful architecture, reliability, and delivery challenges   Opportunity to shape standards, delivery practices, architecture, and developer mentorship as the team grows     Alteva RCM | Technology   Pay Range $180,000 — $220,000 USD   Benefits Alteva RCM offers our employees a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, employee assistance plan, paid family leave, short-term disability and life insurance. We also provide a 401(k) plan with employer match, flexible spending accounts, employee discount program and an employee referral program.
